American Club of Hertfordshire
Welcome from the American Club of Hertfordshire.
We are a group of individuals, couples and families who share a bond to the United States of America. Some of us were born there. Most of us lived there. Some members worked in or travelled to the USA. Although not all Americans, we now make our home in or near Hertfordshire and meet to share friendship based on our common bond – the USA and Hertfordshire!
About
The American Club of Herrtfordshire can trace its early beginnings to the 1950’s when a regular
flurry of Americans would find themselves moving to the area for their work. Many members
moved with General Motors to work at Vauxhall or at the Shredded Wheat factory, owned in
part by General Mills.
